Singularity
Singularity employs a diverse range of modeling techniques and representation styles in order to effectively convey its project. Notably, emphasis was placed on the utilization of drawing techniques to enhance comprehension. To facilitate ease of visual navigation, projection lines were employed to guide the viewer’s gaze from one drawing to the next. The model consists of three distinct components: the container, the soap cast, and the pipes. The container serves as a solid mass which houses the soap cast, and is supported by load-bearing pipes. The concept of Singularity is derived from the understanding that the mass and pipe system must work cohesively in order to maintain the structural integrity of the pipe. Specifically, the pipes function to support the mass as it cantilevers, while the weight of the mass serves to keep the pipes grounded.
